Key West Art Show; Mike and Terry's Visit

Mike and Terry, cruising friends who swallowed the anchor and home ported in St Petersburg, are are now heavy (successfully) into Terry's paintings and the resulting art show circuit. They visited for a few days on the way to the Key West Art Show. It will come as no surprise to the readers (if there are any) that we spent some time at the Dolphin Research Center, again. The first picture is Mike and Terry at their booth at the Art Show in Key West which we took today in another visit to Key West, the second is a good picture of a non native invasive iguana who has settled at the DRC. They are all over south Florida and have prospered (bred a bunch) since they have no natural predators here since being released into the "wild" years ago. They can be dangerous if anyone tries to pet them or attack (shoo them away) them.

I'm a reader! I'm a reader!

Iguanas give me the creeps. There is a huge one that lives at the store where Spencer and Kendall take science classes. Gives me the willies every time I see it even though I have never actually seen it move. It just sits there with it's tail hanging off the shelf it is sitting on and it's eye occasianally moving about. Ick!

I need to get a piece of Terry's artwork for over our bed. I love her stuff and the colors are just right. Let me know if you ever hear of her being up this way anywhere.

Tracy and I are also readers! I love that the Dolphin Research Center left a comment. Do they know you by name now?
