Dixie's knees were not improving so she visited the only orthopedic doctor from Key Largo to Key West. He has a excellent reputation. There are some treatments that can be done well short of surgury, starting with an anti-inflamatory drug that seems to work well. Then we went on to a great restaurant in Key Largo, the Fishhouse, for a very good lunch. Some pictures (1) another Keysy image; the doctor's office in Key Largo. Glad the doctor's appointment went well and there seem to be some things you can do to help your knees without having to go to surgery.
Sorry I didn't call today to check on the doctor's visit. Busy Busy...we are getting ready for a big storm. It was 60+ today and tomorrow night into saturday they are saying we are going to get 5-7 inches of snow. Crazy.
